national doodle day for schools
How can my school get involved?
Getting your school involved in National Doodle Day is really easy. Just follow these simple steps.

Step one
Due to the overwhelming success of National Doodle Day, we've run out of cards to send out!
However, that doesn't stop you from taking part in National Doodle Day. You can either:
-
download and use one of our doodle cards, or
-
just use your own sheet of A5 card.
If you do use your own piece of card, please write the following information on the back:
-
your name.
- the name of your school/group/business (if applicable),
- your age group (5 & under, 6 to 11, 12 to 16, 17 to 24, 25 to 59 or 60 & over)
- your address including your post code
- your telephone number
- and your email address
We can still send out organiser's packs containing hints and tips for organising your National Doodle Day event. You can get one of those by emailing us on doodles@nationaldoodleday.org.uk or calling 0113 210 8800.
Step two
Organise Doodle Day at your school (see tips for organisers for ideas and inspiration!)
Although National Doodle Day is on Friday 7 March 2008 you can organise your own Doodle Day at any time that suits you.
The basic principle is to encourage as many people as possible to take part and to ask for a £1 donation for each doodle entered in the Doodle Day competition.
Step Three
Send in your doodle cards, but don’t forget:
-
The deadline for returning completed Doodle Cards is Monday 31 March 2008.
-
Make sure each pupil (and teacher!) has filled in their name, age and school on the doodle card.
-
Remember to enclose a cheque to the value of the donations collected in. Cheques should be made payable to 'National Doodle Day'
-
Finally, post all the doodle cards with your cheque to:
