NATIONAL DOODLE DAY FOR GROUPS

When is National Doodle Day?

National Doodle Day will be Friday 7 March 2008. However, doodle cards are available to order until xxx, so if you can't make 7 March, why not hold your National Doodle Day at a time to suit you.

Doodle by Uri GellerCan anyone take part?

Your age or group doesn't matter, from the youngest to the oldest person in the country, no-one is excluded. You can enter as an individual in a specific age group or you can enter as whole business. You can enter as many times as you like - it just means more money for the charities concerned!

There are no rules as to what constitutes a doodle, just let your imagination take over and enjoy yourself. To give you some inspiration, doodles in the past have covered anything and everything from puzzles, patterns and portraits to pets, passions and places. Check out what your favourite celebrity has chose to doodle in our Hall of Fame!

How to enter

Due to the overwhelming success of National Doodle Day, we've run out of cards to send out!

However, that doesn't stop you from taking part in National Doodle Day. You can either:

  • download and use one of our doodle cards, or

  • just use your own sheet of A5 card.

If you do use your own piece of card, please write the following information on the back:
    - your name.
    - the name of your school/group/business (if applicable),
    - your age group (5 & under, 6 to 11, 12 to 16, 17 to 24, 25 to 59 or 60 & over)
    - your address including your post code
    - your telephone number
    - and your email address

We can still send out organiser's packs containing hints and tips for organising your National Doodle Day event. You can get one of those by emailing us on doodles@nationaldoodleday.org.uk or calling 0113 210 8800.
