Getting your group involved couldn’t be simpler. Register your interest today and we will send an organiser’s guide packed with hints, tips, certificates and as many doodle cards as you think you’ll need.

Get organising. Your doodle pack will be sent out six weeks before the event date. In the meantime check out our ‘Tips for organisers’ section below and keep an eye on our downloadable section of the website.

This year, National Doodle Day is on Friday 5 March 2010 however your event can take place whenever suits you best.
Once you have received your organiser’s pack all you need to do is get as many people doodling as possible. For every Doodle entered into our National competition we ask for a suggested donation £1. The competition will be judged on Friday 27 March and two lucky winners will be in with a chance of winning a brand new, top of the range laptop.
Deadline for returning doodles is Friday 2 April 2010. Once you have collected all of the doodles and donations from your event return them to us at the address below. Please make sure each person who has taken part has filled in their name, age and company name on their doodle card. Cheques should be made payable to National Doodle Day and returned to:

This year we have two prize categories and the winning doodle will not only appear in the Doodle Hall of Fame but will be sent a winner’s certificate incorporating their doodle.

This year's individuals' competiton has two prize categories:
- Aged 16 years and under - brand new Toshiba Satellie T110 laptop and a copy of the Usborne Book of Drawing, Doodling and Colouring
- Aged 17 years plus - brand new Toshiba Satellie T110 laptop and a copy of the Usborne Book of Drawing, Doodling and Colouring
Prizes have been kindly donated by Toshiba and Usborne Children Books.

Here are a few tips and ideas to make the most of your National Doodle Day event:
- Get as many people doodling as possible!
- Design some posters to put up advertising National Doodle Day. Alternatively you can download a doodle poster from the downloadable section of our website
- Why not get your family, friends and neighbours involved?
- Check out this year’s celebrity gallery for inspiration.
- There are no rules about what constitutes a doodle – so let your imagination run wild!
- Remember, this years’ theme is ‘all about you’ but why not come up with your own?
- Above all, remember to have fun!
